Making a Woven Cloth

I just got a lovely potholder loom in the mail yesterday and found this tutorial on using crochet cotton to make washcloths. I have a bunch of crochet cotton I cut to do cardweaving but never figured out how to do it, so now I have something I can use up that pre-cut thread on. But it’s currently 4:33 AM and the thread is down in my art studio so perhaps I can grab it tomorrow morning and give it a try.

I was so excited to try a childhood memory of mine again. Making potholders but this new kit disappointed me in a few ways. The loops are not cotton and the size is more like a coaster.
