Did I ever tell you guys I used to participate in a Harry Potter RP website? Here's a sample of my character, Jasper deCroix
The smell of cardamom, black pepper, and camel sweat flooded the Indian bazaar. Vendors were shouting at one another for stealing their customers or trying to get you to buy their rug or little pot of magic salve. The camels groaned and spit at the shoes of passerby, causing them to yell and jump. The streets were filled beyond capacity. Everyone’s shoulders rubbing against one another. It was perfect, but despite the crowd, Jasper could still feel his eyes on her back, following her every move. She stole a glance behind her, and saw a glimpse of his white hat, just before a camel blocked her view. There were six camels… This was her chance. Jasper shed her canvas jacket and swiped a tunic from a hangar, slipping it easily over her head as she ran. She felt the familiar tingle in her skin, in her nails, and hair. She caught a glimpse of herself in a mirror above one tent, and saw the face she loved so dearly. “I’ll see you again,” she promised, just before her skin changed from its natural pale pink into a dark, ruddy tan. Her eyes flashed green then melted into honey colored irises. She ran as the rest of her appearance changed. Her hair- normally cropped short and bleached blonde- began to flow luxuriously down her back to the top of her pants and change from blonde to deep black. Grabbing a teal veil to wrap her hair under, she smirked as she stole a glance at the man following her. Jasper watched his eyes search the crowded market street, struggling to find her. “You’ll never catch me!” She called out clearly over the strained voices of the patrons. His eyes searched for the source of the voice, but found no face he recognized. Her eyes flashed in the sunlight as she ran down an empty street, leaving the dazed man behind. Jasper kept running till she was sure she was in the clear. She shed the veil and the tunic. She shook her head, and her hair receded into her scalp, bleaching itself. She turned to the glass window beside her and raised her hand to her forehead above her honey eyes, and lowered it down revealing her piercing green irises. She wiped her hands across her face and down her arms as if washing away dirt, only to reveal her milky skin once again. She knew the manual wiping of her skin did absolutely nothing to aid the change, but she did revel in the awesome look and effect it gave. Jasper winked at herself, her true self, and dashed off up a flight of stairs to wait. He would never find her. Never to catch her. Two minutes later, he came around the same corner, only to find a white linen tunic and a teal veil discarded on the ground. He heard a distant chuckle. Whipping his head around franticly, searching for the source. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a glimpse of white hair looking down at him from a window, but when he looked to see, there was no one there.
Occulmency in the Dungeons: Harry and Snape
Severus was absolutely against teaching Harry Potter the subtle art of Occulmency but he was the only one who could. He was the one that could see into people's minds and know what they were actually seeing whether it was a dream they had the previous night or their fears and anxieties of what was going to happen come test time. But this was a more serious matter because Harry Potter was seeing things that were real. And that deeply concerned him. He waited until Potter was in his dungeon and it was late at night. All of the other students were in bed. He opened the door to see Potter in his blue pajama bottoms with a matching blue shirt and he told him to sit. "You do know why you are here, Potter?" He said in a bored, tired tone. He was exhausted since it was so late, but he had to do this for Harry. He had to make sure that it actually worked.

Snape looks at her and after two hours have flown by. He then looks at him. "Well Lovegood. Has the message sunk in yet? Or do we need to keep doing this all night?"
