I made a post asking how it was used in tumblr rp’s… I didn’t intend to start this.

Insisting that these terms are offensive by any stretch when you have no idea their origins and roots just rubs me the wrong way because I've spent over ten years with these terms. The fact that anyone would have a problem with them, unless they're being used incorrectly, makes no sense to me because even illiterate roleplayers have had no problem with the category they fell in. Because there were no "I'm better than you" attitude towards these whimsical terms for over ten years, I feel that forcing it to be a one is better than the other situation is really the thing that's rude, not the term itself.
