Motherhood. You seriously you never give a dull moment. Some days you have me confused. For example today, my baby peed on the potty for the second time! That was a Yay 😁 ! . Then I was co bathing and shampooing his hair when he began to 💩 in the tub... —that was a NOOOoooo! . . I rushed out and let the water drain while I took slippery wet 💩 baby to the potty ... was about to sit him when...I remembered there was no potty basin because I had left it in the bathroom from his previous accomplishment. I had to rush. This was an actively 💩 Baby. Thanked God I had rinsed the basin previously. . Put the basin, sat him, and as he watched DANIEL tiger go potty, I ran back to pick up the 💩 and Clorox wipe quickly, then rinse w the shower head and begin collecting water again 🚿 🛁 I return to find he pooped in the potty ... and was now checking it out kneeling beside it... and in doing so...💩 on the floor.... Oh Laaaaawd!!!! That’s a No! No! Nooooo! . Sat him back and he Did it!!!! He 💩 in the potty for real! For the first time!!!! Oh my gooosh babyyyy! Another YAAAY! . I wanted prayers! I wanted an adult! I was up to the neck in mud! So to speak and unsure of wether to laugh or cry ... so I just had to congratulate and cheer my baby—- . Then back to bath time. . Oh Golly.... I didn’t know how much goes into raisin a little human . Props go to you wondeful Mothers, fathers, grandparents and older siblings helping raise children... It takes a village. . I would like to thank my family who potty trained me and cleaned MY messes.... . I didn’t know. Wow. So much work. Insert sigh here...

No exciting news. Still waiting until the next surgeon appointment. We have been meeting with pediatrician weekly so he could keep an eye on him but he decided we could go until after his next surgeon appointment cause I “got this” and know what signs to look for to take him in to emerge. He really is a lovely doctor and super helpful but I don’t feel like I have this down! I guess I do but daily changes in his diet, gas, and ability to take meds always have me on edge - let alone bowel issues. I guess I always have the almost three year old’s potty training to keep my mind off things 😒🙄

We are potty training hollynn right now and she was doing so well but with our sensory struggling angel you bet your bottom dollar I was soooo pissed for em to yell "mom!!! There's pee on the floor!" Pray for me, y'all. 🙏🙌🏻 · This morning I was wasteful..🙇‍♀️ (and living in Austin that's definitely a deadly sin, so this is hard for me to publicly admit) · I've been on the gross journey of potty training Connor and it's not for the weary. · It's not really "for" anyone. · And it's not "easier when it's your kid." · 😶🤢 · So this morning when Connor had his big boy britches on and decided *not* to tell me he was on a full tank down under.. things took a nasty turn. · Instead of doing what other mamas suggest and try to salvage his adorable Lightning McQueen undergarments... · 😷. · I threw every inch of material into the garbage can with doggy bags on my hands. · Then I threw my toddler (who must have cement up his nose, because he's quite enjoying my gag reflexes with no reaction to his grossness) in the guest shower and blasted him with water until I could stand to breath again. · Yes, that's wasting clothes and water. And it did take a lot of water. · So anyone who gets through these scenarios gag free with nothing but grace and dignity, feel free to come take over this area until Connor gets this whole in-the-toilet thing down. · On that note I should mention I CAN'T WAIT to go see @imomsohard this weekend!!! If you haven't watched their ridiculous videos, I'm begging you to do so whether you have kids or not.
