If I may ask, what exactly are you writing about regarding the cheese whipping ritual? The Spartans are so neat and weird and it’s always interesting to hear about them!
Oh they really are! I'm writing about the ἀγωγή and how the use of the Artemis Orthia sanctuary, regarding both male and female centred rituals, affected the Spartan society and their military, and it's been so much fun writing about!
Sometimes i am reminded that writing an essay about men being whipped for trying to steal cheese in a ritual isn't a normal thing in most educations
