this is not naivete I say

I know people are dishonest all around

waiting to pounce

on something I have to say

put me in a box with a label

but I refuse to play

I’m just saying what I have to say

doing what I think is right in the world

& if you want to be the pouncer

make me wrong

then that’s on you eh?

& that’s very different behaviour

from people who want to educate

if you got something better

can show me a smarter way
