I have posted about Pour Deux before. A japanese streetwear brand (now discontinued) pulling inspiration of the large avantgarde designers. Their most notable influences were Comme's quirky crazyness, Yohji's elegant tailoring and here Helmut Lang, Raf Simons or old Prada perhaps? But the fact they're not this huge fashion house doesn't take away that their clothing is so well designed. I love the perfectly placed cargo pockets, the leather front with a subtle green undertone so that it just differs enough from the pitch black nylon sleeves and back. There is only a little menswear on the website, I know. But since womenswear has been evolved to be quite on point, for me menswear is a huge gamble. I still need to find the style and learn so much much more about designer's menswear collections. But to lift a tip of the veil and get you a bit excited: I will be presenting an mini-collection of Lieve Van Gorp. 5 pieces: 2 women, 2 men and 1 accessory. So yes you guys will get more soon! In the meantime head over to the website to look at this Pour Deux piece, and at the bottom of the listing you can find a little bit of background on it. #pourdeux #yohjiyamamoto #helmutlang #rafsimons #margiela https://www.instagram.com/p/CIVjk4zg5Vd/?igshid=vai4w38kd4r9
