There is no otherworldly feeling than writing future chapters and thinking of all the good plot twists and angy things coming to your fic as you giddily (read: maniacally) giggle to yourself as you think of what the readers™ (affectionate) will do reading it
she's back-and-forth with herself in the first verse that reveals the deepest tensions of “Powa.” She is a feminist and a fighter, reinforcing her own mantras in between the moments of weakness in which she just wants a man to take care of her—and overpower her. This inner struggle fits with the original title for the album, Women Who Kill, which shares its name with a classic book on feminism and domestic violence by Ann Jones.
It’s almost as if she’s giving herself a pep talk: No, I’m not like that. I’m a rebel, I’m a devil, I’m steady as a boulder. But in reality, she wants to succumb to the coziness of Valium and an attentive lover when the day is through. In this last line, she once again tries to justify her desires – she’s so liberated she’s likely to fly away, and simply needs this person to keep her grounded. This excuse is one last attempt to hide her desires before she concedes and confesses them in the chorus.
In spite of her own strength, she finds herself naturally attracted to someone’s authority/domination over her for reasons she can’t explain.

"I love blood, the feeling of death, the smell, the taste, I just started to realize it recently."
- Power [Chainsaw Man]
Chainsaw Man Power commission, with my touch. A drawing that was quite difficult for me, I had problems with lighting and pose, although I thought it would cost me much less. I was even on the point of abandoning it, but I didn't because it was a commission. In short, everything is learning.

"Me encanta la sangre, la sensación de muerte, el olor, el sabor, recién comencé a darme cuenta de ello".
- Power [Chainsaw Man]
