Brisbane set to boost live music scene

John Collins might have put down his bass when Powderfinger completed their farewell tour last year, but he is set to bring the noise back to Brisbane with his new venue The Triffid under construction.

Exactly. A person's DNA is the same throughout his or her life, and humans are continually growing and/or changing. Development isn't finished until approximately 21 years after birth. We are never in stasis. That process of growing and changing begins with that first cell, the fertilized egg. To draw a line anywhere else and say "they were a clump of cells, now they are a person" is arbitrary and dangerous, as I said in my reply to powderfingers.

I swear to God, its a cruel world we live in when someone like Peres has gotten away with everything he's done, he should have been hanged years ago for all his war crimes.

It definitely is. And the fact that people are saying that history doesn’t matter — it does. Things that happened during the world war 1 & 2 are things that can’t be described in words how horrible they were. And what’s scary, is that things like that still happen behind our society’s back. It’s disgusting how the people behind deaths of millions of people can still get away with it.

Its ironic the Americans can laugh at North Korea but Shimon Peres and Vova Putin are bigger murderers and tyrants, they won't touch them because they don't have a spine.
