🙉what are two things that make my muse uncomfortable in conversation {flaws, both Mal and Ash}

The two frowned slightly, each showing discomfort simply in the question. A heavy moment passes as they look between each other and Mal ducks their head, Ash sitting up straighter. Seems Ash is a bit calmer about facing her demons than Mal might be.

"Two things? Ah, I suppose politics and family. Though it's not exactly something I can't converse about, I simply prefer not to. Mixed feelings and such." Ash glances to Mal, their face slowly turning up to the wall across from them.

"The past. People, places, events, mistakes, it's hard to think about unless it's within the past... Year or so, I'd say." Mal has shut down, eyes blank as they stare, voice emotionless. "And I suppose the other thing is fears? I hate discussing others or my fears."

Mal takes a deep breath, looking down and appearing almost vulnerable, as if they have no emotional energy to stop anyone from using this against them. Ash looks away, shifting uncomfortably. It's rare that Mal admit something like this, something that can be used against them.
