ROMANIAN WITCHES CASTING SPELLS ON POLITICIANS.

GOT TO SAY, I LOVE THIS WOMAN AND HER FAMILY. SHE IS SO UPFRONT AND CONFIDENT IN WHAT SHE DOES.

BEING BRUTALLY HONEST HERE, UNAPOLOGETICALLY..I AM NOT A FAN OF ECLECTICISM. THAT’S JUST MY OWN MINDSET, AND I’VE NO PROBS WITH THOSE WHO USE IT. BUT IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GOOD TO SEE THESE OBVIOUSLY POWERFUL WOMEN AND MEN REFER TO THE GODS AND POWERS OF THEIR HERITAGE RATHER THAN THE DEVIL, TBH, IMO.

FAIR PLAY TO THEM THOUGH. AT LEAST THEY’RE TRYING TO CHANGE THINGS IN THE WAY THEY KNOW HOW. IT’S MORE THAN MANY ARE DOING.

So I’m a witch now!

A few weeks ago I took a tentative step towards witchcraft and researching it. It was like all of a sudden all of my life’s ... everything?... made sense. My thoughts, fears, feelings, emotions, BIG questions, were becoming answered through my research. 

I’m so excited and I want to share, but I’m also shy, and from an extremely christian background. So posting here will be my release.

Its been so funny how much magick has been intertwined through out my life. I keep finding those “coincidences” now that I’m looking.

I’m looking now to know more about history and powerful feminine witches. I feel there’s a hole in my heart for the 500+ years of lost feminine history brought about by the The Malleus Maleficarum. 

Anyone who may see this, please feel open to sending me reading material or someone to talk to about this missing history. I think there’s a heritage I need to learn about?

Bellatrix is one of those characters whose power and skill people underestimate because she is unhinged and impulsive. Generally she is considered to be very powerful so I’m not saying everyone does this (the HP wikia does describe her as being very powerful). But during my time in the fandom I had to defend her skill several times. (Which is weird considering the fact that her victories against other characters are on page and that she’s explicitly described as skilled by the author.) I’ll list some of these gems below but if you’re a Bella fan this post might annoy you just like those arguments annoyed me at the time. 

she needed three people with her to subdue the Longbottoms

Where is this in the books?! The Lestranges were all very loyal and Crouch Jr was as obsessed with Voldemort as Bellatrix herself. There’s no indication that she had to beg them to come with her. Most likely they were all there because they wanted to be, not because they were needed. 

she only defeated Sirius because Sirius had been weakened by his recent stay in Azkaban. 

You know who else had a recent time in Azkaban? Bellatrix!!! Siriusly, there should be laws against arguments this bad. 

there’s no indication in the books that she can duel. aside from Sirius who else did she defeat? 

Um honestly if your recollection of a character’s actions is this bad then maybe don’t engage in arguments about them. 

if she’s so powerful how come she ended up in Azkaban?

Well that’s the thing, we don’t know. Nothing is known about how that happened because it happened off page. She could have faced multiple opponents. Or not. Point is, we don’t know. But apparently an off-page defeat counts for more than multiple on-page victories. Riiight. 

we don’t really see any powerful magic from her aside from dueling

She is a minor character with, what, six or seven scenes total in the books. Her magic was obviously powerful enough to defeat her opponents unless we’re saying that they weren’t using powerful magic either? 

And this one still takes the cake for me, even today: 

we don’t know that she defeated Tonks or Kingsley in OotP, they could have been defeated by stray spells flying around from other combatants. 

*facepalm*  I.. I cannot... Ok, points for remembering the book but point deduction for twisting canon into a pretzel so you don’t have to admit that a character you dislike is powerful.

Hey! No i dont have it, i think i never made gifs from that specific moment but i can do it 😊  i will probably do a gifset of Josie, hope and lizzie holding hands and being the most powerful witches XDD so i will include that gif where they fight the mummy.
