Today's task for #jayjaysconstantfaerytalesjanuary was to share "Reign of the Fallen - #GruesomeReads." After just a little thought, I came up with these books: . The first two books in the #WaywardChildren series by @seananmcguire and #PowersofDetection: Stories of Mystery and Fantasy. ❤❤❤ . . . . 1. Every Heart a Doorway because the murders in this book were horrifying. 😣 2. Down Among the Sticks and Bones because it was somehow even darker though only one murder took place. 😦 3. And Powers of Detection because there is at least one story in this anthology that I find so horrifying - so gruesome - that I only read it (them?) maybe every sixth time I reread this book. 😨 (This is my favorite anthology of stories by different authors and I've read it A LOT. 😄) .
