Indian PP prices
Polypropylene prices continued their downward trajectory this week, reflecting persistent pressure in the domestic market. Indian PP prices declined by Rs 6/kg to Rs 154/kg, marking a consistent fall compared to recent weeks and signaling cautious sentiment among buyers.
Over the past month, the market has corrected by Rs 19/kg, moving away from the recent peak of Rs 175/kg recorded three weeks ago. However, Indian PP prices still show strength in the medium term, with a gain of Rs 53/kg over the last three months from a low of Rs 101/kg. On a yearly basis, PP prices in India are up by Rs 56/kg, highlighting underlying volatility despite current weakness.
Market participants are closely tracking key levels around Rs 160/kg on the upside and Rs 150/kg on the downside.
