In the embrace of nightmarish smoke

This time I wanted to try a full-fledged work like illustrations for children's fairy tales. But the truth is not an innocent fairy tale here. >:]

Theodore Grambell 🤝 Quinn Navidson

• Shy, really young orphans with little to no friends deemed troubled children by the counselors

• Creative/Artistic side to them (Drawing and Switching toy body parts, namely the heads)

• Got taken advantage of by someone older and more powerfull than them who showed interest in them-Even if Prototype/Oliver cared for Theo more than Harley ever did for Quinn, it doesn't change that their friendship was unhealthy with both manipulation and power imbalance

• Skilled at stealth (sneaking into the counselor´s office and beating statues in 20 seconds and confusing the team by hiding in the foam pits for 15 mins)

• Ended up as a feline toy for trusting the wrong person (butterfly effect in Theo's case)

• As a Bigger Body, they live solely to accomplish their lord's/master's orders and demands by acting as some sort of bodyguard or guard dog

• Funnily enough, their gimmick and their main way of attacking is their mouth-Catnap expels red smoke feom his mouth and Yarnaby's face is splits apart whenever his mouth opens

• Both of them have harmed or attacked at least one critter-Catnap by tearing Dogday's legs off and Yarnaby has played fetch with the Nightmare Critters, namely Simon Smoke

• They end up dying in an attempt to carry out orders and both their deaths involve getting burnt alive

• Both could potentially reference villains from other franchises-Theo's story resembles Anakin's rise to villainy from Star Wars with both having been burnt victims who suffered significant damage to the lungs and if you combine The Doctor and Quinn's names you get Harley Quinn whom follows her abuser's words and wishes in most of her stories despite all of the pain he causes her and ending up dying in some comics. Not too different from Quinn as his mind and body were broken too and Yarnaby is obedient but his design sports scars across his body. Also you know, the manipulation all of them went through.
