Lively Crewmates
Levy sighs, looking up at the stars. She knows she should rest up since tomorrow they'll be docking in port and she'll be very busy, but for some reason sleep just wont come to her tonight. So, instead of just tossing and turning in her cabin, she'd decided to come out on deck to see the stars. It's very late and the majority of the crew is already asleep from their drinking earlier. The only ones who would still be awake are whoever was aside look out duty, whoevers steering, and anyone else who couldn't sleep like herself. Most of the crew are heavy sleepers though so the ship is quiet.
Levy lets her mind wonder, thinking about when she first joined the crew after being found by them on a slavers ship. She'd been young then, the current captian had still been training under their previous one. Now Sting is their Captain and Rogue is their first mate. A small smile plays across her lips when she thinks of the ships first mate. He had been the one to find her on the slavers ship and had asked the previous captain to let her join.
If it hadn't been for him she'd probably have been killed or left on the ship, since the previous captain had been a believer of the old superstition that women on ships are bad luck. Rogue had insisted they keep her though and had even let her stay in his cabin the first few nights. Soon though, she'd shown to have a natural affinity for navigating and she was put under the previous navigator to learn al she could. The kind old man had passed away a few years back and passed down the position to her.
Levy is so caught up in her thoughts and memories that she doesn't notice the sound of approaching footsteps behind her.
