Happy #internationalwomensday ! Love and warnth to all female identifying peeps from all walks of life! I would like to give a shout-out to my dear mother- she's hard-working as they come, widowed, survived racism, poverty, immigrant life and a string of abusive boyfriends while raising 2 kids. Here’s some #tbt from my childhood 💖 It’s nostalgic to look back on memories; some of people, places and things that meant and mean still so much to me. Pictures are so precious to me because I get to look back and relive the moment, feel the joy, hear the laughter and remember a time where everything and anything was full of pure magic. In the third picture you see me, my sisters Chris and Britt and my Abuelita. She passed away when I was very young but I still remember her long nails when she would pinch my cheeks (I swear to this day it’s the reason my cheeks are so big). She is part native Taíno (Cuban), and Chinese! I think a lot of who I am and how I look comes from her. Anyhoo, I thought these were super cute and vintage! My mom looks so good brunette and my dad never freakin aged lol *ps.
