How's it going with Sherlock? Is his trust in you forever and totally demolished?

I was actually making a point with Sherlock. He's lied to me on several occasions before. But we talked it over last night, I explained the prank and April Fools to him because he had deleted it, and I think things are alright again. If anything, I was surprised and touched by just how much he trusts me.

Either that, or for the world's only consulting detective, he can be extremely gullible.

John, I'm actually.. this might sound stupid, and believe me, I am stupid.. but this really hurts me, I thought you were better than that... maybe I'm hurting for Sherlock, because god knows he won't let anyone see it, but who wouldn't be hurt? I'm sorry.. I'm not at all involved in this, I just know.. that as a human being.. he would be hurt. He may be machine like in his thoughts, but he is as you've said.. the most human, human being.

He is.

He is very human, no matter what he may try to get you to believe.

And that's why I'm not marrying Irene Adler.
