Lord, your word tells us that the temptations we face are nothing different to anything anyone faces. As many of us embark on developing new positive habits and behaviors, we ask you to help us to rely on you, to overcome the temptation to quit or fall back into old behaviors. Thank you, Lord, that you are so gracious, that you have given us all the fruit of self-control; help us to walk in the self-control you've given us. Thank you, Lord, that you have also provided a way out of every temptation that we face. We declare that we will succeed in overcoming habits and choices that are not good for us because we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. "No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." (1 Cor. 10:13) #prayerexperiment

Thank you, Lord, for the gift of a brand new year. In the name of Jesus, we lift up every person across our city, as they make plans for the things they want to do and accomplish this year; we pray that they would seek you, because you have a perfect plan for their lives. Help each of us to seek after you like never before this year, so that we will hear from you and experience the wonderful things you have planned for us. We declare that this will be a year of joy, favor and manifestations of your word. "'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'" (Jer. 29:11) #prayerexperiment

Heavenly Father, as we prepare to go into a new year we thank you for what you have done this past year. We ask that you prepare our hearts and minds to experience a supernatural encounter with you. Lord, you said that if we who are called by your name humble ourselves, pray and seek your face and turn from our wicked ways, then you will hear from heaven, forgive our sins and heal our lands. (2 Chronicles 7:14) Lord, we are believing that you will move in a way that is beyond our human abilities and stretch our faith so that we may fulfill your will here on earth. We praise and honor you for yours is the kingdom, power, and the glory forever amen. #prayerexperiment

Father, in the name of Jesus, today we ask you to help us to reflect you in our actions. Help us to remember that very often, our actions have a greater effect than our words. Help us to seek out opportunities to sow seeds of kindness. We pray that the seeds of kindness and compassion sown will reap a 100-fold harvest so that your love is spread across our city. (Eph. 4:32) #prayerexperiment

Lord, we lift up our nation today and ask for healing among your people. Your word says that if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. (2 Chron. 7:14) Jesus, we pray for you to heal the division among your people. Allow them to take off hatred and put on love. To love past the differences. Teach us, Lord, to love our neighbors as we love ourselves only then will we be more like you. #prayerexperiment

Lord, you are great and worthy of our praise. We present our bodies as a living sacrifice to you. Jesus, you reign forever, in you there is no lack, no judgment no void. We thank you, Father, for your great love. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. (John 15:13) #prayerexperiment

Lord, thank you for being so faithful. As many prepare to travel, we pray that you grant traveling grace to all. You are our Rock and Refuge constantly providing protection (2 Samuel 22:3-4). Thank you that we shall not be harmed by any attacks of the enemy for no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We love you and bless your holy name in Jesus’ name amen. #prayerexperiment

Thank you, Lord, for the wonderful gift of your only perfect son Jesus Christ. On this day, the day that we choose to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, we pray that everyone in our city, across the nation and across the earth will take the time to reflect on what this special day is truly about. As we share meals and open gifts, may we be thankful to you Lord, for the most precious gift that you sent to us, Jesus. We pray that those who have not yet accepted Jesus as their Lord and savior will be convicted today of this and that they will choose to receive the best possible gift of entering into relationship with you Lord, through Jesus Christ.
