This book is spot on. Everything was written articulately. True and accurate. I remember it all, the history, right up to today. It's compelling to the end, in my thinking. All may not agree, but I believe it to be truthful, compelling, and intelligently written. A must read for everyone American.

How close
Lord,
How close have we come to Sodum and Gomorrah? How similar are we to the ancient Israelites and people of Judah? Like the cities of Sodum and Gomorrah we have become slaves to our greed and lust, only wanting to help our selves. Like Israel and Judah we claim you as our God, but let the needy cry out in despair. We as a people have forgotten your promises to hear and help those that cry out. We have turned worship into a chore. Making noise, giving sacrifices, using blinding lights in hope that you won’t see what we are trying to hide. We try to distract you from the cries of dispair. Like the Israelites we cried out to you, to save us from the injustices of a nation. And just like them you saved us, gave us land and let us build a nation. And just like them we forgot where we came from, we forgot that the God that heard our cries and saved us, will hear the cries of others and save them from any nation. Just like them we have placed idols before you, God, breaking the sacred commandment. I fear that just like the Israelites, you will send prophets to speak for you and we will not listen. That just like them we will be exiled from our land and forced to work for the conquerors. So please God, hear my prayer and answer the unworthy, fearful sinner that dares speak to you. How close are we to you taking everything away?
