Our victory on the battlefield of life is completely dependent upon our willingness to humble ourselves before God in fervent prayer. Fervent prayer is passionate and enthusiastic prayer with God. Would you use the words passionate or enthusiastic to describe your prayer life over the past month? Paul teaches us in Ephesians 6:18 that prayer is the key to turning our spiritual armor on. He tells us to pray on all occasions, with all kinds of prayers, because he knew and firmly believed that prayer is the channel that God uses to activate our spiritual armor as we go into battle.
