So sad to see so many people of the South Florida community grieve today. My heart and prayers goes out to the city of Parkland in Coral Springs. This Valentines Day Massacre did not only effect the schools but many members of the community. As of today, I feel that this shooting has made Americans aware that a change needs to be made. Not only changes in gun policies but a remodeling of our mental health care system. It has failed us countless times in the past and needs to keep up with the times. As one goal as a health care professional I promise to be part of that change. Not only by opening up more resources but by educating my American community.
