Perhaps i need to read this over and over again to be reminded that we, as Christians, aren't called to return evil for evil or insult for an insult, or to contest on people looking down on you, but speak blessing upon them instead. Sounds easy, but when your heart isn't aligned with Jesus, God will really crush you and humble you, to change your heart, to remove all pride, to become more and more like Christ. This is not a simple project as it were, but will take us a lifetime to really become christlike. Blessing instead of cursing is easy when things go as we please, but when it's not, we tend to allow our flesh to rule instead of our spirits with an eye for an eye... #blessyourenemies #prayforthosewhohurtyou #dogoodtothosewhohateyou
