Pray Relentlessly
O Lord my God,
I come to you as I am,
Flawed and in pieces.
I have no good but you,
for you have shed light on to my days.
I will forever praise you
and pray with your glory in my sight.
lift your name higher
and serve you until my last breath.
Lord, for you are merciful
And graceful in nature,
but you are also Just
and through your son, justice has been severed.
You sent your son down for the broken.
Unworthy of this scandal of grace.
You murdered the righteous,
for we who are unrighteous.
Only through Jesus ,
Do we know of salvation.
The son of god died,
to give life to his people.
He rose and ascended,
to the heavens where he will stay.
Until the day of judgment,
where all knees will bow
and tongues will proclaim.
Holy, Holy Holy
is our lord Jesus Christ.
I pray for your people,
and the people that
have yet heard of you.
I pray for your gospel,
that it will be exalted
throughout the earth.
I pray for the weak,
that they will
find strength in you.
I pray for broken,
that you will provide them with comfort
and mend their souls.
I pray for the lost,
that you will make known to them
the path of light.
I pray for the homeless,
that you will give them a home
show them your love and the family of your people.
I pray for your ministry,
For the churches around the world
that they will stand firm and serve only you.
I pray for the world,
through the chaos and sin
make your name grow larger
let the word of God be heard.
All this I will pray,
In your Son’s Holy, Holy name
Jesus Christ.
