Today’s Reflection:

As time marches on, we may find ourselves living in either the past, the present or the future. Yet, today Jesus cautions us not to place our focus on the past or the future, because there is not much one can do about either, for the past is now fixed, it cannot change, but we can learn from mistakes made and the future has not even occurred, but it is influenced by the present. Therefore, the present is the place to be and if we prepare ourselves well following what Jesus taught us through the Beatitudes and by his commandment of love and respect whatever comes our way we will be ready and with that there is nothing to worry about including the final judgment.

GODDAMN    —   Negan was going insane here.  Don’t get him wrong,  the universe he came from?  Not doing much better.  Talk about a shitshow from hell, but at least he knew his bearings there. There was some familiarity. Some companionship too,  with the handful of survivors he’d managed to scoop together to create a group.  He didn’t have either of those two things here.  Here, everybody was a stranger and so were his surroundings.   ‘ We are definitely not in Kansas anymore, Toto. ’   Grunts were directed at a dog he’s somehow managed to befriend, large hand petting it’s head while he tried to figure out where the shit he was.  It wasn’t the first time his ass got lost. Wouldn’t be the last either, much to his constant fucking irritation. 

Negan’s knuckles whiten as spare hand tightens grip around the bat that goes everywhere with him, even apparently Romania.  He hasn’t seen any Walkers since waking up here, but he ain’t dumb enough to believe that doesn’t mean some can’t be lurking. Especially not when he’s just heard a twig snap behind him.   ‘ I guess the teddy bear’s were right that I was in for a big - ass surprise if I went down to the woods today. ’   He spoke, gradually turning to squint at the bushes, hoping to get a better look  — —   trying to decipher if they were alive or dead.   ‘ Am I interrupting your picnic? ’

I live in the Dayton, Ohio Area

The mass shooting that happened this morning had me absolutely shaken and horrified. That could have been me. Or my partner who also lives in this area. Watching the news crying, texting all my neighbors and friends to make sure they’re alive... this is unreal

“The deeper and thicker the mud, the more beautiful the L O T U S blooms.” 🌺🌺🌺Today I feel so elated and high from inhaling the sweet fragrance and #energy of the luminous lotus blossoms swaying in the breeze. Coming face to face with a #yellowlotus twice the size of my head and feeling her warm glow radiate unto me was breathtaking. Q U E E N S 🌊 B A T H isn’t really a smart choice this month if you are visiting Hawaii and want to take cool pics or visit thrilling spots with your fam and youth~ pls withhold the need to show off, test boundaries or volunteer your body for dangerous shorebreak waves. My daughter and I literally held space for dozens of people with kids today totally unaware of the hazards of getting dragged on the rocks after “exciting” geyser-like splashes. It’s nerve racking. I rarely resist the opportunity to jump the cliffs myself when the conditions are ok for me, but today I just watched and spoke with tourists unaware of the precautions. I send prayers and blessings to everyone visiting, without judgement. It’s gnarly when tourists defend their naive choices and demonstrate to the dozens of bystanders their stalwart position to prove strength or power. There are windows of calm then freak sets flooding in. A local or familiar soul would handle this differently than a first timer. Just sayin. Be humble . Respect. Read the signs.
