i haven't done prb in awhile, but didn't authors get to pick from the rough drafts or the art in the past? are authors just blindly picking by choosing a book/movie this time instead? i'm interested in writing, but i'm worried about getting matched up to a prompt i can't fill the way the artist would want!
Yes! The artists make a rough draft and provide a prompt based in one of the movies listed. That is because we are doing a themed event. In the claiming sheet you will see the prompt with triggers and anything else that you would need to know about it and we will have a page displaying all of the drafts as well for you to decide.

Edit: to be clear, the movie selection was provided by what the artists gave us. We didn't limit the theme in any way. We are displaying what they are before claiming just because we want people to have an idea of what they can choose from if they join as an author.
approximately what dates will the writing time span across? because rn i am very busy but i know that i will be free pretty soon
We will reveal teams as soon as claiming is done (it starts on nov 1st and it could take up to 3 days but it's usually less). You can start writing then and you have time until your posting date which we will assign to each team depending on what they answer in their check ins, whatever is most convenient to the entire team. The earliest posting dates will start on January 20th and it will spread out until March 1st. If you need an extension from whatever date we assign you, you can request it when the date is close. We will not be giving extensions if the date is like in a month because it really messes things up.
