François de La Rochefoucauld. This guy is pretty cool...he lived in the 17th century; you should check out writings, there is a lot of wisdom to be gained (most of his stuff is short aphorisms so we're not talking about hard to digest writing). He's worth a go...(Nietzsche liked him so there's that...).
