Stenbrough AU Meet before "It Chapter 2" aka The Runaway Groom.
Bill Denbrough is a famous writer, who is almost famous because the end of his books are bad. He is 25 years old. His friend is an actress, Audra Philips, who found a job for him as a screen writer.
He has a routine (go to the studio, write, write, avoid all the dates Audra want for him...) and everything is okay...
...Until one day, when he is driving to the studio of WB, Bill bumps into a runaway groom.
"What the hell?", Bill claims, meanwhile the groom enter his car.
"Drive! NOW! NOW!", the guy looks terrified. So Bill drives (where? The mysterious groom only said "far awaaay").
The guy, with curly hair, brown eyes, seems very scared. "You are okay?", Bill asked to the runaway groom.
"...Not now...maybe i-in a minute", the groom look at him, "I-I'm sorry...I just made you have a hard time. Practically I kidnap you...", he laughs without much encouragement, "Sorry, I am Stanley, Stanley Uris".
"I am Bill, Bill Denbrough".
"Wait a minute, the writer?", Bill saids yes, "Your finals..."
"I know, they suck".
"No, no...well yes, but I think you could do it better".
Stanley doesn't have a place to go. He runaways from his wedding with a girl called Patty. She is a friend, but their families wanted them to unite as a couple. Both are obligated to do that wedding. Stanley can't supported. He runs.
Bill offers his home, it's very big for only one person.
"Maybe you think I'm crazy for offering you that...".
"No, no, I don't think so. Actually, i feel that... i can trust you. That is crazy, isn't it?", Stanley show a little smile.
Bill's heart is beating very fast. Only for that smile. So familiar.
Stanley lives in the house of Bill. He cleans the house, makes the dinner, wash the dishes and clothes. Audray jokes about how Stanley is Bill's "wife".
Bill and Stanley blushes everytime she mentioned that.
Stanley calls Patty to tell her about he is sorry for the wedding. She is fine, but Patty's parents not. Neither Stan's parents. They insisted to do another wedding.
"So...what are you gonna do?", Bill asked him.
"Maybe don't call them, anymore. My dad is always mad about me for something I did on my Bar Mitzvah", Stanley doesn't seems worried.
Stan helps Bill with his books. They are going better.
Stan comforts Bill every anniversary Georgie's birthday and death. He doesn't speak about how (He doesn't remember).
When Bill goes to a interview, the interviewer ask about "someone special" in his live, to inspire him (specially for his character, his hero, a jewish man who always find a way to save the others. Being brave, be true...).
Bill didn't answer the question.
Stanley makes the same question.
Bill kiss him in response.
Stanley and Bill sleeps in the same bed that night.
And all the nights that come.
They married in 2016. Stan parents doesn't talk to them.
They like to solve Stan's puzzles. And watch the birds when they have time.
Now Bill is helping with the screenplay about his book. He is in the WB studios, talking with the director and Audra...
...When he receives the call.
From Mike, Mike Hanlon. From Derry.
It had come back.
Oh, god, Stanley.
He has to go, he must to let Stanley know. Surely his husband will ask for an explanation, and will give it to him when he returns.
"Stan, I'm in home",No response, "Stan?"
He heards the sound of water running upstairs in the bathtub.
Bill had a bad feelings and quickly climbs the stair to the bathroom. He opens the door and...
"STAN!"
