So, I had a thought

Original characters are always a pleasure to make, but they never seem to feature in any of my fics. I'd like to do something about that. Introducing Captain Victrisis: a turian soldier whose best interests lie with his people. He believes where he has the capability, he should do right by the demands of the greater good, but has a sharp edge to his personality as he treats his crew sternly, and with discipline.

To him, failure is never an option.

Captain Octavius Victrisis commands the Celestial: a turian frigate that patrols territory within Utopia, Exodus Cluster (Terminus Systems) as they transport people and resources between Eden Prime and Earth. Given the pre-ME1 state of being, this relationship with the Alliance is purely experimental, and will eventually lead on to a partnership with the turians as a whole, and thus the creation of the SSV Normandy (SR-1).

Doesn't really listen to music, but has a soft spot for anything his mother/love interest listens to, as it reminds him of them.

Language(s) spoken (or would have learned) besides mother-tongue:

Bits and pieces of salarian dialect due to time spent surviving ruthless training exercises and missions gone awry.

Thing that makes him go weak at the knees:

When someone stands up and treats him as an equal: no malice, no trying to 'fix' him; just taking the time to gradually thaw him out, at Shepard's own pace.

Most obscure thing he hates:

Strong scents/flavours, certain textures.

Childhood experience that defines an aspect of his life:

Father was a well-respected Major in the Alliance military, and Shepard always lived in his shadow with the expectation that he would grow up to become the new Major Shepard. Despite Shepard's admiration for his father's work (love/hate relationship with the man, himself), his father was ruthless and abusive. He was declared MIA around Shepard's fifteenth birthday, and is one of the main influences of Shepard's harsh command [Renegade].

“Be still, boy.” Korek growled from behind and Tegan could hear the air being forced from Cetus’ lungs as the heavy boot pushed harder into Cetus’ carapace, now creaking under the weight of the batarian. Tegan turned, her cheek still pressed against Vey’s back, and her eyes widened. Caught in the act. Feral savagery. Cetus sunk his teeth into Korek’s leg, tearing out flesh and muscle and sinew.

Korek fell to the ground, roaring and bleeding.

Blood christening his face, Cetus leapt from the ground and charged. His head crashed into Tanlin’s stomach, flattening Tanlin against the floor before yanking the girls by their wrists. He forced them to run. Behind them, Tanlin howled with laughter nearing pride, the feet of his men thundering past him and after them.

Feet pounded painfully against stone.

Vey’s quiet cursing, as she knocked over obstacles for their pursuers.

A vent.

A grate.

Something close enough to the ground to dive into.

Tegan searched her blurred surroundings for a hole in the wall. Big enough for all three of them. Small enough to keep grownups at bay.

Nothing. Keep running.

Commander J. Shepard (Current WIP)

Pre-Service History

Both of his parents were in the Alliance military, and Shepard's childhood was spent on ships and stations as they transferred from posting to posting, never staying in one location for more than a few years. Following in his parents' footsteps, he enlisted at the age of eighteen.

Psychological Profile

During Shepard's service, a mission he was on went horribly wrong; trapped in an extreme survival situation, the commander had to overcome physical torments and psychological stresses that would have broken most people. Shepard survived while all those aroung him fell - and now he alone is left to tell the tale.

Military Specialisation

Adept - adepts are biotic specialists. Through upgradeable implants, they are able to lift and throw objects, shield the squad, and disable (or destroy) enemies. Adepts can only use light armour, and can only receive weapons training with pistols. Bonus talent: Decryption.

Introducing a new OC... and just in time for N7 day!

Lieutenant Esper Simmons is the former pilot of the SSV Senegal, the vessel that Lt. Kaidan Alenko and Pvt. Heather Bartley served on before Alenko's promotion to the SSV Normandy (SR-1).

Before their assignment as the SSV Senegal's pilot, Simmons served the Alliance as an engineer, mainly working below deck and towards the ship's engine. They moved from ship to ship, never really staying aboard the same vessel for more than a few years.

At age 27, Simmons had plans to retire from their military career, and returned to their apartment on the Citadel for a while.

With an education in piloting, however, the lieutenant was called upon by the Alliance once more, and was offered a position as the pilot of the SSV Senegal. They couldn't refuse, and accepted the offer without hesitation.

After the destruction of the vessel, Simmons was declared MIA until their recent appearance in the Citadel Embassies, where they were found passing along classified intel to Admiral Steven Hackett.

Cold showers

Vyrnnus' death on Jump Zero.

Tell me more about Mass Effect Reclamation: SSV AIN Jalut

Thank you soo soo much for the ask really appreciate it!

Basically SSV AIN jalut is the story after anhur where she basically severs a batarians arm to get data regarding balak and the captain isn't all that pleased but fortunately Anderson comes to save her in an unexpected way by bringing her on board the Normandy and Shepard has to come to terms with it being under Captain Andersons command and let's just say Ezner Shepard isn't all that happy lol

“Hey Aelin! I wanted to ask-would you sit for me while we’re at the gallery-so I can look at you when I’m sculpting?”

“Sit for you, huh? I dunno, sounds pretty dull.” He teased.

Tegan pushed him. “Mister Ropon says that that sort of thing helps! And I wanna make the best sculpture in the whole gallery!”

“High aspirations.” He shifted the cigarette to the other side of his mouth. “And you think my ugly mug is gonna help you do that?” He barked with laughter at the intensity in her face, the eager nodding that made her more of a blur than a girl, and ruffled her hair. “Alright, alright. If it helps.”

The air changed, for a moment it froze. “Pardon me, salarian. Would you stop to talk to us for a moment.”

What-ho? A chapter, after five months? Shock and awe!
