“Aw, c’mon, Pixie! You’ll love flying!”
Revving up….
CLARK AIR BASE, Philippines (April 4, 2019) -- United States Marine Corps Gunnery Sgt. David Law conducts pre-flight checks on a KC-130 -- 3 of its 4 engines now running -- before the aircraft takes off to perform in-flight refueling duties for fighter/attack aircraft conducting training exercises in the area.

I’ve always found propeller-driven planes like this....as they rev-up their engines to full power before flight....remind me of getting-up in the morning.
One engine at a time, you bring yourself up to full power to confront the day ahead....and you silently pray you’ll be able to take-off....fly through the day’s challenges....and land safely at the end of the day.
