How will you know if you made the right decision?
1. If you are at peace
2. If you could live on that decision.
3. If you could face God on that decision.

Key Club ICON 2012 | pre-icon
key club international convention | pre-icon 2012 | #1
For the next week I will document my thoughts and experiences leading up to, during, and regarding the aftermath of the 2012 Key Club International Convention in Orlando, Florida as a part of the ICON Social Media Team.
Since American Airlines doesn't receive checked baggage for free and charges $25 one way and another $25 back, I have successfully stuffed a week's worth of clothes for ICON, including a suit, multiple dress shirts of various colors, a couple of Key Club casual shirts, my district polos, and plenty of socks and underwear, into a carry-on suitcase whose dimensions total 45 inches (22in length x 14in width x 9in height). I'm allowed one more personal item, a backpack, which I will stuff with plenty of snacks for the trip and for random bonding sessions throughout downtime at ICON.
I'll be meeting with with my group flying from LAX tomorrow morning at 5:30AM; tonight I prepare myself for an all-nighter at my Key Club advisor, Mrs. Wright's house until 3:30AM when we delve into the sea of traffic on Southern California's most notorious freeways.
As of now, the excitement of going to Orlando and experiencing my third International Convention hasn't really hit me yet. I still feel like I'm missing something that I should be bringing for the week. I still feel like this week will be like any other normal week, and I'm still waiting for that surge of energy that'll spark the beginning of my next adventure.
