Photographer Danielle Earl has shared these photos of Stephen ahead of the Olympics. The photo on the left is from the pre-novice men's SP at 2013 Thornhill Summer Skate. Stephen was representing Thornhill FSC, and this was his first known competition in Canada at the age of 8. The photos from this SP can be found here, and the FS is here.

TSN’s top 5 of the 2015 Canada Winter Games included Stephen’s pre-novice men gold medal. They got the spelling (different Romanization) and thus, pronounciation, of his name wrong. Clip from the full video, as shared by The Canada Games.
