Summary: Their first meeting was not a happy one.
HUGE CONTENT WARNING Hey folks, this is a rough one. I mean it. Edge is not in a good place and by the end of the fic, he's still very much not in a good place. I really think it's only acceptable to end where we end because we already know for sure that it gets better. (We're in the past; we already know what the future holds for him.) Anyway, we're dealing with suicidal ideation--portrayed from the POV of the suicidal person--and to the very last line of this chapter, it does not go away. Additional content warnings for violence and off-screen (unnamed) character death, but the suicidal ideation is the big issue in this one. Please be careful with yourself and only read if you're in a good mental space.
