WOOHOOOOOOOO WE FUCKING MADE IT. 17 days in and we finally start the actual game!!!!
I drew a normal non AU piece for this room too but screw it, I'm using the Undynetale one as the main piece. Because what's even the point if I'm not being self-indulgent about this.

Commentary on the extra pieces under the cut:
Yeah so I've drawn this room a stupid number of times. Even splitting it across multiple posts, (Fall and Land are both effectively set here) there's just too much to fit without reserving some for later bonus posts. (Which I'm planning to hold off posting any of until I finish the Ruins.)
Counting all the images I'd consider to be effectively set here, including the ones for the intro and the ones I'm reserving for the Dump flashback in Waterfall, I have 66 drawings of this room. There's exactly one part of the game I've drawn more than this and it's the Last Corridor/Judgement Hall.
Anyway. Commentary:
First piece: I go back and forth in my art between whether or not the player exists depending on what's most convenient at a given moment, but this one was specifically me poking at the idea of a Frisk who has no control over when or how often we reset. I think this was one of my earlier pokes at that idea, actually…
Second piece: Unlike the ISAT crossover, which was just a short little comic I drew for fun, Reverietale is a full-on 30k+ fanfic with like another 20k of outlines about a version of Undertale where the characters are replaced by the cast of the Dream SMP that I wrote back in the height of my DSMP phase. I ended up putting it on indefinite hiatus after too many of the streamers turned out to be massive assholes, since that kind of killed my desire to write about their characters, especially when the drama was still fresh and making content about them ran the risk of me being mistaken for one of the apologists.
To this day, I still waffle on whether I think I'll ever go back and finish it. Maybe in another 5 years…
Skipping ahead to the seventh piece bc I don't have much to say about 3-6: If I were really being strict about the whole "one comic panel = one drawing" thing this would be like 8 pieces all for this room. But it's old as balls and also basically just the same drawing every panel so I just picked one.
Pieces 8 and 9: I didn't finish the redrawn/completed version of my old soldier poet king lyric comic on the one year anniversary of drawing the original, but that is when I started it! The finished version is one of my favorite lyrics ever, honestly. I should go back and do a colored version at some point…
Piece 13: This was originally going to be the main image for this post, but then I drew the Undynetale one and decided I liked it better. This one does have a unique vibe to it, though…
