“Elements (2013)”

The very first doodlegram I’ve ever made to my knowledge. A doodlegram is filling a page entirely with doodles and patterns that make a cohesive piece. Usually the doodles conspire with something happening with my life, but sometimes I just draw stuff i want. They are really fun to make, and served as kind of a time capsule. Like I remember I was a friends bonfire when I made this. I made a bunch of them over the years, and honestly I need to make more. They are a lot of fun

“Mondrian (2014)”

This is not a direct copy of Mondrian’s work, but a study of his general style. I absolutely love Piet Mondrian’s work and I sometimes try and replicate his style. It’s a lot of fun to do and can be pretty challenging. It feels almost like a compositional puzzle.
