Reposted from @wellwateredwomen It isn’t just in sharing a post about Jesus; it’s in sharing his love with my neighbor or the person at the cash register. It isn't encouraging someone I've never met in a DM; it's reminding my sons to look to Jesus when they're sad. It isn't re-sharing someone else's biblical insight in my stories; it's preaching the gospel to my own heart. It isn't posting a gospel-centered Reel; it's coming alongside a suffering friend in real life. In our digital age, it’s easy to think that ministry only happens online, and while I do believe God is using the internet in great ways for his glory, we must always remember that true ministry happens face-to-face, with those around us and in front of us. These devices we use to capture moments, share content, and scroll daily can be used for good, but they can also be an agent of the enemy to distract us from what really matters, and that is loving God and his people. Let this space be the overflow of your walk with him, not a space that pulls you into the undertow of trying to impress others. This week, embrace the beauty of daily ministry that starts in your home, at your work, in your city, and in this world. Let’s be women who are the same online as we are offline and who serve those around us in Jesus’ name—hands free and hearts ready to stop and share the love of Christ at any given moment. –Gretchen (@gretchensaffles), Founder #wellwateredwomen #preachingtomyself #lampandlight https://www.instagram.com/p/CbJKGrWP8k9/?utm_medium=tumblr
