A quiet library, void of any peers, was sacred to Karkat. So he found it hard to contain a soft smile as he entered the silent library and crossed to a very back table, more private than the others, where he sat and began to unpack some of his things.
Sure, he had already finished his (albeit half assed) homework, but he had been wanting new scenery for some internet browsing, and a quiet library in a private corner provided just that. However, he could only roll his eyes as he had to dig through and search for his laptop's charger cord, the inside of his backpack a chaotic mess of papers, office and school supplies, electronics, and other mismatched items.
