Anfangs hab ich die Lache gar nicht gesehen. Erst als sie sich durch das ständige Beschleunigen und Abbremsen über den halben Wagen verteilt hatte und ihn mit leicht süßlichem Alkoholgeruch füllte fiel sie mir und ihre Quelle - ein schlafender Penner - auf. Weil New Yorker einiges gewöhnt sind wurde sie von den meisten Leuten einfach ignoriert. Andere tauschten genervte Blicke aus. Erst an der 110. machte jemand den Zugführer darauf aufmerksam worauf dieser den Wagen "isolierte" (also leerte), was den Penner aufweckte und diesen dazu veranlasste sich auf den Bahnsteig zu verlagern und dort Passanten wüst und unverständlich anzuplärren. Ich bin die restlichen 10 Blocks zu Fuß gegangen.
