NAC: Okay, much respect to OPs, but these political confessions are really starting to confuse me. These characters are fictional both in our world and in the TV show. "Hello, yes, I'm Captain Hook and you should arrest me and my new besties the EQ and Rumplestlitskin for murder." The only place they'd be taken is an asylum, rehab even.

Yeah, it’s getting a little out of hand now. I don’t think the vast majority of these people in town are following real-world American politics because they don’t have to. I mean their town is almost always invisible to the rest of the world or just blocked off in some way or another. I mean the last episode just showed that they don’t really care about how things work in our world and shoved a mother with a 3 day old newborn into the position of mayor/electrician because that’s how things would have been done in their world.
On another note, can you imagine a Monty Python reference where King Arthur is parading around town trying to claim himself as ruler of Storybrooke and someone shouts out, “I didn’t vote for you!”
I really don’t want another 10 confessions comparing characters to politicians and I’ve gotten a few that literally have nothing to do with Regina or the show. Those confessions will be deleted because they’re getting out of hand and there is already one where people can leave their response to the OP rather than using my inbox to do it.
