Summer at Smith's 20's Night
http://www.smith.edu/summer/programs.php
So, this is my second day here at the precollege program I am attending. My dorm, surprisingly, is actually a a bit bigger than my actual room back at home. The mattress, however, isn't that great. Well, I've only slept in it for one night, so I can't really say much about it. Continuing on with my dorm, I was supposed to have a roommate, but she never came. I heard from my sister (she searched her on Facebook) that my roommate comes from the city where the college I'm dorming in is. This probably means that she's a commuter student, meaning that she does not have to stay in a dorm. I really don't mind, because I have the entire room to myself. :D
I'm grateful that I managed to make some friends. However, there are too many awkward silences, and I hate it. I never know what to say. When my friends actually start talking about something though, I barely participate in the discussion. These four girls that I've met are all in the art and design program that I'm in, so we have something in common. I've also met several other people who are in different programs, such as drama, acting, technical design, math, science, etc.
Classes start tomorrow. I have three art classes tomorrow: sculpture, communication design, and open studio. They're all three hours long though, so I'm not sure how I'm going to keep myself sane. I'm fearful of the challenges that lie ahead with these classes, but I'm ready and excited to face them. Wish me luck!
I got accepted to the San Francisco Art Institute summer pre college program this summer. Im so fucking excited words cant even describe. Im going to have such a great summer.
