Fated Clash (@musa-serenitatis)
"There is no way I could forget you, Cure Tender."
The Precure Hunter's voice was as cold as his gaze, intense blue eyes locking on to the young woman's face. "Out of all of the Precure I've faced, you are the only one who has managed to provide me with a true challenge. Furthermore, I hear that you've been making yourself out to be quite the nuisance for Namakelder and the others."
Phantom studied Cure Tender even as he spoke- as always, she had no obvious openings. From what he had gathered on her, she appeared to know some form of martial arts- and was quite skilled in them, beyond that. Unlike the average Precure that Phantom was sent after, her combat skills and magical power alike were both exceptional.
He would be lying if he said that fighting her didn't excite him even a little. After all, she was the first Precure to survive an encounter with him. And the only one, in all honesty.
But this couldn't continue- Queen Mirage had made that quite clear. In order for the Phantom Empire to truly gain a foothold in Japan, Cure Tender would have to fall. With her gone, the only active Japanese Precure would become Cure Princess, who was no no threat to anyone- it wouldn't even take the Precure Hunter to defeat her.
"But that ends today." He said, resolution clear in his voice. "You should enjoy what small bit of freedom you have left, Precure."
