It was the first time Close had actually entered his Queen’s forest since her demise. He hadn’t wanted to see what the place looked like now that she was gone up until now.
When he arrived to the place, he was pleased to see he had been worrying for nothing. While the forest was definitely less dense than it used to be, it was mostly still the same as it was back when Dyspear was still alive. And now that he had inherited her power, he knew he was the new master of this place.
That sounded like the perfect opportunity to set his plan into motion, so he could revive Dysdark’s legacy. And the first step to his revenge was to turn Hope Kingdom back into a wasteland raided by its inhabitants made into mindless killing machines.
He had no intentions to go for a full-on offensive right away, of course. It would just be a waste for him to get caught now. He merely wanted was to cause enough concern around the forest to lure a particular person here.
He passed his hand on the trunk of a tree, infusing it with all the dark energy he had collected up until now. The trees themselves started to move, sprouting vines covered in thorns that began moving all around. Whatever innocents would enter the forest would make perfect vessels for new Zetsuborgs or concerning casualties that were sure to lure out his first target.
Because who was better to help him create a new Dysdark and send this country to the dephts of despair than the person who used to call Dyspear “Mother”? He would be killing two birds with one stone if he managed to bring her back.
"Now... Don’t leave me waiting for too long, Cure Scarlet.”
