Ah, is she seeing double now? That probably isn’t good, but it is kind of funny. Uru can’t help but giggle, just a little bit, dabbing off the sweat from Iona’s forehead with a wet towel.
“Hehh, you didn’t know? I brought her all the way here just to help take care of you, Hii-senpai.”
It’s probably time to give her some medicine, or at least some water. How long had Uru just been sitting at her bedside like this? There’s no telling. Uru learned a long time ago that time moves differently when you’re sick, but poor Iona might not know yet.
Brushing herself off, the smaller girl moves to the kitchen.
“Don’t fall in love with her though, okay? I’m the cuter one. Remember that. If you cheat on me with her, I’ll tell on you. Then the Cabinet Intelligence and Research Office will come and arrest you. They might even give you the death penalty for it, because I’m so cute.”
She’s already returned back to Iona’s side by the time her warning ends --- pill in one hand, water in the other. This is kind of exciting! Uru doesn’t usually have the chance to take care of a sick person. It’s usually the other way around.
“Here, senpai. take your medicine. Don’t take it from her, though.” Uru gestured to the supposed double that she can’t see, “She’s a liar, and she’ll give you cooties.”
