sam's life was anything but perfect. his mother never seemed to care. blaming him for anything wrong in their lives. when his 'sister' got into drugs, his mother blamed him. told him it was his fault because she couldn't focus on paisley because sam was so damn needy as a child. she made it known that she was not his biggest fan. that she hadn't gotten what she totally wanted when she had him. little did he know how far from the truth that was.

one day, when he was cleaning the attic. samuel stumbled across a box full of sonogram pictures and other things. as he sat there and went through them, sam found something new about him. he was adopted. his mother was not his and by the looks of the sonogram, he had a twin.

so he packed a duffle bag, hopped in his car and made his eay to east highland. he was looking for answers. why was he given up? did his brother also get put up for adoption or was it just him? what was wrong with him that his parents didn't want him?

"Really bad? How bad is really bad, what kind of shit are we talking here?" Carlos looked to Nate with an unreadable expression. He was trying to keep his fear response contained, as he knew that's what feeds the dream demon which haunted his own dreams seemingly forever ago. He knew Krueger was dead, he helped to slay that beast, but there would always be a part of him that was cautious. Especially when it came to himself or others having nightmares. As much as he couldn't stand Nate Jacobs as a person, he never wanted to ignore the other's nightmares in case the dream demon was truly back.
