Week 5: A long day of sexual exploration followed, and we parted ways and got on with our daily lives while still meeting up regularly to enjoy ourselves and each other. But after four weeks of fun, things began to get real.
It started when you had to stay home sick one night on our weekly Sunday cinema date, meaning I had to go with a friend, because you'd been puking and feeling nauseous for weeks but especially so that night, and it was only then you realised that you hadn't had your period when you were supposed to. The next day, you took a sick day at work to go to the chemist for some nausea meds and a home pregnancy test. When you got home and took the test, you weren't terribly surprised, but it did bring about a heavy mix of emotions.
"Ok...Ok" I say to myself as I take a deep cleansing breath in aa my mind struggles to figure out how to break the news to you.
My heart races at the thought of how you are going to take the news! We were supposed to be friends with benefits at most but a baby! That changes everything!
I pacw back and forth in the washroom for what seems like forever while my mind runs through a million different scenarios of how things could go. At the end of it all though there was only one way to know how it all would go for sure, and that is to tell you.
