Yay! We wrapped up our garden club fun today by building bamboo structures for tomatoes, harvesting a huge head of cabbage we grew from seed, picking mint, and making homemade mint ice cream while rocking out to @farmergreenthumbs garden songs! Garden club resumes at Little Ones in September. We are excited to start a new garden club at another local school in August! A day in Garden Club! We have just one more class before our summer break. We love munching on 🍋 sour sorrel, planting our seedlings, and making homemade lemonade! Next week for our last class we will make mint ice cream using mint from our garden. From making simple syrup to full on yummy hibiscus tea, all 6 or our classes enjoyed measuring and making their own heart healthy drink to beat the heat.
