Premier Vision 2012 fabric designs
Fabric designs produced for Premier Vision 2012
When I was in Paris I went to Premier Vision for some trim and fabric inspiration, I didn’t find many trims or threads that I liked or would consider to use but I did find these fabrics that I might consider using for the final collection.
'blended, bonded and altogether techy fabrics'
seen as the end of the love of 100% wool, 100% cotton, 100% cashmere, this links with my trend 'wool for the win'. This trend demonstrates that wool is constantly developing and modernising through colours and textures. If it is blended and bonded with other materials then this is a sure fire way to dramatically improve it's current status of it still being a little bit 'grandma'.
