Working process: Editing video using Premiere Pro CC 2017
Methods: First, I import both the separated layers and the original photographs to Premiere Pro CC 2017. Then, I add in the images in 2 different layers:
1. The first layer is the original photo with low saturation and opacity. This layer will remain throughout almost the whole video.
2. The second layer is for the separated layers of the original photo, which is added on top of the original one. The images used in this layer will be edit by colour balance, saturation and added in effects such as “gaussian blur” and keyframes. The opacity of this layer will be higher than the first one.
3. After editing images, I later on added in video transition between each images to create a smooth change throughout the video.
4. Finally, the recorded audio will be added and edit. I also separated the audio into 2 layers, since the bird chirping soundtrack will be the background “music" for the whole video. Another layer is for short recorded soundtracks, like typing phone or footsteps...
5. I edited the audio so at the beginning and ending of each soundtrack, there is a “fade in" or “fade out" effect. To make the soundtrack sounds more realistic, the channel volume (which is the “left" and “right" parts of speaker) is also edited.
6. Finally, I create the beginning and ending parts for the video, to present it as a smooth and full video but not a short clip.
