DA:I Headcanon
So...I've waited a while to post this and I'll let you know now that I'm a horrible person and I'm not sorry xux
I had a thought while about halfway through my first full playthrough of Dragon Age Inquisition and I would like all of you to share my pain.
Think about the beginning of the game; the anchor is killing the Inquisitor.
After the rift at the Temple of Sacred Ashes is closed; the mark has stabilized and is no longer killing the Inquisitor.
Then, after the Breach is closed completely there's lots of happiness and security and such, but then Corypheus comes and messes stuff up.
What if, by trying to remove the anchor (which I might add, as most of you have seen in your own playthrough's, that Corypheus wasn't all that gentle about it) that he caused the mark to begin to spread again. Yes, the Inquisitor can now open rifts of their own to use in combat, but slowly the mark begins to consume them, and not long after the game ends, instead of killing them the mark pulls them back into the Fade again? Let that sink in. I'm writing a little piece about this right now with respect to my Inquisitor, Mycah Trevelyan.
This is gonna be fun~
