Pre-production Evaluation
I feel as if I have tackled the pre-production stage adequately, given the circumstances. As mentioned, I would have preferred to work off of demos, but I reacted to that situation by going to introduce myself to the band and listen to the live performances of the tracks I was recording. I made sure I was ready for production with templates of the project and the knowledge of what microphones I was going to use - which was made easier with the microphone testing. I familiarised myself with the studio environment by involving myself with extra studio sessions, such as the microphone testing sessions, which will also make the studio sessions run as smoothly as possible.
