Soramafu Go Outside Radio - Prerhythm Arch Edition #2 (Bonus CD) Summary/Excerpts

(PRA Edition #1 translation/summary/excerpts.) This radio track was available on the bonus CD that came with the limited edition Prerhythm Arch CD sold at Animate. While the limited edition version is currently sold out and can not be purchased, Soraru and Mafumafu once mentioned that it might become available again in the future, so keep an eye out for that if you’re interested! In astonishing contrast to the opening of the previous hikiraji track on the album, this one starts with Soraru trying to calmly start the introduction, and Mafumafu immediately yelling over him “HERE WE GO!!!! WOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!” in English (I think, anyway. He’s very loud :P) Soraru tells him to shut up, Mafu apologizes, and they give the usual intro to the episode. “It’s summer, it’s exciting,” says Soraru in a rather bored-sounding voice. M: I wanted to record the radio like a ‘riajuu’ would (riajuu = slang word for people who lead happy lives offline) S: Ah, seriously- M: YAY!!!! S: Seriously, you wanna do that? M: (fake tough voice) “you wanna go?! Yo!!” S: Won’t that be bad? M: (english, still tough voice) “people!” S: No, no, no, I can’t do that. I don’t know how riajuu talk. *suddenly you hear the sounds of fireworks in the background* (it’s clearly a fake track they added afterwards) M: Look! You can see fireworks over there! S: Oh! M: You can see them too, right Soraru-san? S: You’re right! M: See! *makes fireworks noises* S: Towards the east, you’re right, they’re really pretty. It kind of sounds like a reverb effect has been put over them. M: (quietly) That’s awful… That’s not good, you know. If in the future you’re on a date with someone going to see fireworks, you start saying “It sounds like there’s reverb on these fireworks…” S: (laughing) It’d be the same for either of us if we went to see fireworks. M: Yikes… Soraru jokes that he’ll get a girlfriend who understands what he means and who can identify what the reverb on the fireworks sounds like, Mafu follows up saying she’d compare the colors to tracks on Cubase (music software), etc. Soraru tells him to continue acting like they’re watching fireworks. M: Ok. (kind of boredly) Bang, bang, lots of them are firing. S: They’re pretty. Ah, that one is heart-shaped! M: No, that’s not a heart, it’s…. S: It’s not a heart, it’s… (pause, they both laugh a bit) M: Why do I have to say this!! S: Why did you say it?! M: Why do I have to start talking about butts all of a sudden!? S: You’d get dumped if you said that. If you got a girlfriend, went with her to see fireworks, and she said, “It’s a heart-shaped firework!” and you said, “That’s a butt.” M: (laughing) Yikes! That’s the end of that, and Mafu says he wants to read some of their emails from fans like usual. The first question is actually the same one they used in episode 6 of the regular videos, the one that asked if they had any scary stories that had happened to them or people around them that they could share. (My guess on why they reused it is, as you’ll see, they never really answered it in this one :P) Mafumafu starts, saying he has a scary story about Soraru. He says he saw on Twitter that Soraru said (and does his usual Soraru voice as he recites it), “I ate a rice bowl that I’d left sitting out all day.” Mafu freaks out at that, Soraru’s response is “Maybe that wasn’t a good idea…” He gives a long explanation about why he did that, roughly that he ordered the rice bowl by delivery in the afternoon, wasn’t hungry yet, got sleepy at 7pm and fell asleep, woke up, worked until the morning, got super hungry, thought the rice bowl looked really delicious suddenly, and so he ate it. Mafumafu ends the question by saying “That’s our kind of scary story.” The next question asks them what the two of them would do if they could be children again for one day. Mafumafu tries to come up with something. S: Would you go in the girls’ locker room? M: (laughing) … eh? S: You were talking about that earlier, right? Gross… M: No, no… what are you talking about? S: You talked about that before. M: That’s not true! Cut! (laughing) M: Um… let’s see… to talk about something more healthy, I would want to play Cops and Robbers. S: No, that’s not interesting at all. Actually, I think it’s perfectly healthy for a guy to say he wants to go in the girls’ locker room. M: Are you that interested in going in one?! S: When I went overseas, I was told I looked like the women that live there. M: (laughing) Eh… Soraru-san, a woman… S: Overseas, especially in Europe, most people have short hair. But at that time I had gone without cutting my hair, so it was pretty long. So Japanese people often look very child-like to people there. M: Oh, I see. S: When I went to Germany, I was flat-out called a girl. M: Eeeh…. S: So I might actually be able to sneak into a girls’ locker room. No wait, that’s not what we’re talking about! Being a child for a day. M: Um, don’t worry. Even if you go down the wrong path, I’ll always be your friend. They try to go back to the question. Soraru says he used to be a really “bright” kid (as in positive and sociable and such), Mafu says he doesn’t believe that, and does his tired-sounding Soraru impression to say “Sensei, that kanji is written wrong…” Soraru says he wants to take classes again, like in elementary school, and Mafu says he wants to participate in sports festivals again, which Soraru agrees with. M: I’d like to meet “shota Soraru-san.” I’d like to see that. S: Shota Soraru-san had a really high voice. I sung soprano parts. M: (soraru voice) “Sensei, that kanji’s written wrong!” S: That’s just the image you came up with! Moving on to the final question. (sorry in advance for this one ww) The last question goes something like this: “Here’s something I’ve always wondered about. How come girls can wear pants, but when guys wear skirts, it’s gross? And when girls act flirty with each other no one says anything, but when guys do it it’s gross?” (Soraru interjects here with “yeah, it is.”) “And girls touch guys’ chests, but guys can’t touch girls’ chests. I don’t think that’s fair! I’d like to try wearing a skirt, act flirty with guys, and touch chests, not just a little bit for the last one but a lot. What do you two think?” M: Pervert!!!! S: I want to touch girls’ chests too. M: Pervert!!! Pervert!!!! Mafu starts to say he thinks it’s fine to want to try wearing a skirt, and Soraru cuts him off like, “What? Really?” to which Mafu quickly changes to “Well, it’s not fine. But what about flirting with guys?!”  Soraru says the asker is probably just a curious guy. Mafu tries to give an explanation about how girls flirting is nice because it’s like two pretty things coming together, but with guys it’s like (gross voice) “Oh, your muscles look so good.” “Thanks, yours too!” Soraru counters with “But I think a lot of guys talk about muscles like that, like those who are in clubs and such. Like, ‘wow, you have big pecs.’” Soraru changes topics, comparing a guy’s naked body (jagged and hairy) to a girl’s (pretty, and despite Mafu trying to interject that they don’t have body hair, Soraru insisting they do.) Soraru says it’s like seeing a bunch of flowers that are pretty even if dead bugs land on them. Mafu here laughs so hard he sounds like he’s going to cry, then says “That’s awful. Did you hear that? Calling men dead bugs…” Finally the conclusion that Soraru arrives at to tell to the guy who asked the question: “It’s fine to wear skirts and flirt with other guys, but if you touch someone’s chest they’ll get mad, so be sure to find someone who will let you touch their chest.” M: I want to be this guy’s friend. S: Really? He’ll flirt with you, you know, is that ok? M: … Actually, I don’t want to be his friend. S: Me neither.   They wrap it up there, thanking people for listening as usual. Soraru asks Mafumafu how he feels the album work went, Mafu says they already talked about that on the other radio track, and Soraru says he thought they should at least mention something for this one. Mafu says when he was editing the last track, Soraru just kept saying “I think we made a really good album” for like three times, so he had to cut it down to one time. “But really, I think we did a great job this time,” he says again, making Mafu laugh pretty hard. Soraru tries to end it by saying basically “Ok, bye then,” which Mafu makes fun of, and they both repeat it. The last line in the radio is Soraru saying, “Everyone, be sure to do summer things (while it’s still summer.) Us too, we should do something too.”

I’m not sure if everyone has seen Info-san’s tweets, but it seems that Soraru & Mafumafu’s “Prerhythm Arch” can be shipped overseas now!! Hope this aids more people in accessing the album (((o(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)o)))
